On January 30, 2025, the city stage of the "Academic Lyceums League" chess competition was held at the Academic Lyceum of Uzbekistan State University of World Languages. 
Nearly 40 academic lyceums and vocational education institutions participated in this competition. In this competition, Sharifa Alisher qizi Ismoiljonova, a student from group IGR 1-23 of the Academic Lyceum of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, secured an impressive second place.
