On February 20, 2025, a documentary film dedicated to the life and work of Mahmudkhoja Behbudiy, the founder of the Turkestan Jadidism Movement, a prominent writer, public figure, publisher, and educator, was screened for students of the Academic Lyceum at the cinema hall of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

Prior to the screening, A. Fatkhullayev, Deputy Director of the Academic Lyceum, delivered a speech highlighting the celebration of the 150th anniversary of M. Behbudiy’s birth at the lyceum, and emphasized the ongoing efforts to convey his historical legacy to the younger generation.

During the screening, students gained comprehensive knowledge about M.Behbudiy’s life and creative work, further enriching their understanding of the invaluable heritage of our great ancestors
