On May 14, 2025, as part of the events planned to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Mahmudhoja Behbudi, the founder of the Turkistan Jadid movement, public figure, publisher, and educator, UWED Academic Lyceum students staged the famous writer's drama "Padarkush" (Parricide) on the stage of the Academic Lyceum.Through their participation in the performance, the students once again demonstrated their commitment to the ideals of progress and enlightenment and their readiness to fight against ignorance. The scenes were warmly received by the audience with applause. The academic lyceum administration expressed gratitude to the students of groups AF2-24 and IG2-24 for their active participation in the performance and to Go‘zaloy Mamedova, a teacher from the Languages Department, for her dedication in staging the drama.
