From May 23 to 25, 2025, at Westminster University in Tashkent the United Nations Model – TIMUN 2025 (Tashkent International Model United Nations) was organized. Students of the Academic Lyceum of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy also participated with dignity.This event is a Model UN – a recreation of the activities of the United Nations, aimed at helping students expand their understanding not only about the UN, but also about global issues through an interactive and engaging educational experience. It encourages students to get involved in solving global problems and to think creatively with an international approach to finding solutions.Students from the Academic Lyceum who participated in the event took active part in diplomatic discussions and negotiations representing assigned countries: Samina Niyazova as the delegate of South Korea and Rukhshona Iskandarova as the delegate of Spain.
