To mark the 36th anniversary of Uzbek Language Day, the Academic Lyceum of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted the event “My Native Language – My Pride, My Honor” on October 20, 2025. The lyceum administration, teachers, students, as well as S. Barliboyeva, Advisor to the Head of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment on State Language Issues, and G. Qobilova, winner of the “Zulfiya” Prize, and editor of the fiction department of the “Yangi Asr Avlodi” publishing house, were invited to the event. The event began with the National Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Then, Deputy Director of the Lyceum, M. To‘xtaboeva  gave a speech about this important date, discussing the reforms being implemented for the development of our language, the initiatives of our President, and the role of our language in the international arena.
It was emphasized that the main goal of the event was to cherish our native language, strengthen the feelings of national pride and patriotism in the hearts of young people, and promote the rich and unique heritage of our language.
Live performances prepared by the students as part of the celebration, poems written about the language, and national melodies and songs shared a festive mood with everyone.
At the end of the event, the students who actively participated and the teachers who prepared them were awarded "Certificates of Honor" and souvenirs by the administration
