On 26 February 2026, an important educational and spiritual event was held at the Academic Lyceum of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in observance of “Youth Day,” which is designated each Thursday.The event was organized to convey to students the substance and significance of the open dialogue conducted by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the Ko‘ksaroy residence on 24 February 2026.
During the event, the initiatives proposed by the President and the priority directions of state policy concerning youth were discussed at length, including the quality of education, patriotism, innovative thinking, and the preparation of competitive specialists for the international arena.
Students exchanged their views on the pressing issues raised during the open dialogue, and a question-and-answer session was held. Special attention was given to recommendations regarding young people’s commitment to learning, acquisition of modern vocational skills, and thorough mastery of foreign languages.
At the conclusion of the event, participants emphasized the necessity for young people to actively engage in the large-scale reforms underway in our country, to serve the homeland with loyalty, and to strive toward the high goals they set for themselves.
The meeting contributed to enhancing students’ political and legal literacy, strengthening their social activity, and deepening their understanding of the responsibilities that lie ahead.
