On 10 February 2026, a survey was conducted among students and their parents at the Academic Lyceum of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED). The purpose of the survey was to assess the quality of education, improve educational programmes, and align their content with modern educational requirements and students’ needs.
The survey examined opinions and feedback regarding the educational process, the content of social sciences and humanities curricula, lesson organisation, teachers’ professional competence, and the effectiveness of teaching materials.
According to the survey results among students, 92% of respondents rated the quality of lessons highly, while 89% expressed satisfaction with teachers’ knowledge and professional competence. In addition, 87% of respondents gave a positive assessment of the use of modern information technologies in the educational process.
The survey results among parents showed that 94% of respondents were satisfied with the level of knowledge their children were acquiring, while 91% noted that cooperation with teachers had been organised effectively. These findings indicate a positive attitude towards the organisation of the educational process and the development of cooperation between parents and teachers.
Based on the analysis of the survey results, the need to further improve the content of educational programmes, integrate theoretical knowledge with practical activities, and pay particular attention to developing students’ independent thinking and analytical skills was identified.
Taking into account the survey results and the suggestions received, the following priority areas were established:
Reviewing the content of educational programmes in social sciences and humanities and improving them in line with modern requirements.
Integrating theoretical knowledge with real-life examples, practical assignments, discussions, and analytical activities.
Developing students’ critical thinking, ability to draw independent conclusions, justify their opinions, and analyse social phenomena.
Improving the relevance, clarity, and practical value of educational materials.
Reviewing suggestions submitted by students and parents and incorporating appropriate recommendations into the improvement of educational programmes.
Regularly reviewing efforts to improve educational programmes and evaluating the effectiveness of the changes implemented.
Going forward, particular attention will be paid to improving educational programmes based on the survey results and suggestions received, enriching teaching materials, and expanding the use of effective pedagogical approaches in the educational process.
The UWED Academic Lyceum considers the continuous improvement of educational quality, the modernisation of educational programmes in line with current requirements, and the consideration of feedback from students and parents to be among its key priorities in enhancing the effectiveness of the educational process.
